I would talk to people who told me they were suffering from burnout. And then I'd peek under the hood and say, "You're not working that hard. Few of us are doing so much that we actually get burned out." I listened to them more and realized they were masking discouragement under the term burnout. If you quit because you're suffering from burnout, you kinda feel like you went out on your shield. If you quit because you're discouraged, you feel like a failure.
